60% of air cargo from western europe that goes to the US flies on passenger planes at the bottom of the plane. Because of Covid-19, 80%-90% of passenger flights were canceled, which meant that plane cargo shipping was reduced by about 50%.

In case of long distance transportations , there is a huge delay during loading and unloading between vehicles. For example unloading from a ship and loading it on a truck.
